STORING MATERIALS AND MOULDS

The first step in an efficient production chain is the suitable storage of raw materials in clean, well-subdivided areas that are free from pollution and excessive humidity.

The same care is also required for moulds, which must be stored on raised shelves that provide ease of visibility for quick identification but are also protected from potentially damaging factors and accidental impact.

Thanks to the recent expansion of our warehouse, we can ensure all of this and more, together with the correct storage of products that have been processed and are awaiting delivery, keeping them sheltered and in temperature conditions that won’t cause damage prior to shipping.

POLYMER PROCESSING

We consider prepping for thermoplastic material transformation processes to be of the utmost importance. Almost all technopolymers must undergo some sort of dehumidification or drying process to allow for optimal “lamination,” which results in high-quality mechanical and aesthetic characteristics.

Thanks to our centralised vacuum system, polymers are transported from drying hoppers or storage containers to moulds while undergoing a dust removal process that results in a high-quality finished product.

Our polymers are then coloured using modern volumetric dosers mounted directly onto mould injection units.

MOULDING DEPARTMENT

Our production department consists entirely of hydraulic moulds that are constructed by German manufacturers and equipped with inverter electric motors that guarantee the most up-to-date technical characteristics, offering better energy efficiency than traditional solutions.

All of ours moulds are equipped with temperature controllers that monitor temperature. During production, cavity conditions must remain constant in order to produce strong, uniform components with optimal aesthetics.

CHECKS

Thanks to our streamlined organisational structure, the members of staff in charge of production quality control frequently monitor the characteristics of different components in the moulding department as per customer specifications, allowing for speedy corrections if necessary.

FINAL AND EDGING PROCESSES

Moulded components often require finishing touches, riser cuts, assembly and packaging. During the processing phase, our members of staff position metal inserts or manually extract delicate items that require special attention and immediate packaging. This allows us to provide additional quality control, further preventing unsuitable products from being shipped to our customers.

EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE

Our in-house workshop carries out routine maintenance on moulds, as well as cleaning and small repairs.
For larger tasks requiring customer authorisation, we rely on an affiliate department, which guarantees even greater quality assurance.

Our office is located in an industrial park three kilometres from the Serravalle Scrivia motorway exit, on the A7 Milan Genoa, and can be easily accessed by heavy goods vehicles.
